Passat spindles are almost the same as GTI's except they have shorter steering arms which quicken the steering a little.
Passat LCAs are aluminum, but geometrically the same as the GTI's.

Yeah there are modifications to existing parts needed to make them work properly, which I know is possible. I'm just going to pull them from the listing since it's not a direct swap. Sorry fellas!

Passat knuckles are aluminum and directly bolt on. I have a set in the garage.

Definitely. They're a direct replacement and roughly 8lbs lighter than the factory components, but they don't alter the suspension geometry like the TTRS units. :thumbsup:
