Wobble Bolts Track Usage?

^^The reason you always start bolts by hand. Also OP you cannot use an impact wrench on wobble bolts ever.

Why not do a stud conversion instead? Better a cross threaded nut/stud than the hub. Re-drill the wheel is always an option, it's not like the RPF1 is rare or out of production. In general you may need to open up the bore to run the wobble bolt anyways. I had to run wobble bolts on my Work 11R's.

I think wobble bolts are a good temp solution but stud converstion or re-drill is better peace of mind especially if you want to run any kind of security hardware.

Been giving this some thought.

Due to the inconveniences mentioned above (threading the wobble bolt, inability to use impact wrench, need to open up the bore...), I will most likely not go down the wobble bolt route, and will most likely stick with 17x7.5 RPF1s.

With that in mind, who has tracked 235 width tires on 7.5" wheels? Safe? Any decrease in performance (e.g. sidewall flex)? I know running wide tires (>235) is fairly common in the autocross circles, but I am wondering if it will translate well to track usage...

Gladly appreciate the input.

I'm having a similar debate right now... 5x112 17x7.5 ET48 RPF1 or 5x114.3 17x9 ET45(to get the concave spokes).

I've seen pictures of the 17x9 with 225/45/17 and 245/40/17.
