Im unitronic stage 2 with custom downpipe and intake, i beat the GT from a 40 roll by 1 1/2 cars. Is that reasonable?

Yeah it's a 4.6... Not really an impressive motor by any means for a muscle car. Still, it should have been faster than even a stage 2.

you guys are making me feel so much better i thought i should of beat him by like 3-4 cars. i thought i was slow but u guys changed that thinking thanks guys!
Well at st.2 you're up near 300hp, and the Stang is only a few ponys more with RWD drive-train loss.
I've played with two 2005 shape GT's, and I'm not even chipped. There was no discernible difference in 'pulling' between the two cars. They weren't really 'races' just short jaunts on empty open road.
I was surprised that I didn't get embarrassed. Our little cars can surprise some big motors especially with some software...
Auto or Manual GT ? Could be your just a better driver ?
