The golf r reacted slow off the line but when he got it going it took off.

Got to be more than just bolt-ons on the K04. Isn't 119+mph terminal beyond even a stage 3 Golf R. Must be drinking race fuel, WMI etc?

98 RON isn't race fuel, though; it's roughly equivalent to 93 or maybe 94 using (R+M)/2, which is what you see on US pumps.

Yeah these guys are from over here, that run was made at a coastal track too. They manage to run some pretty hectic times and speeds over there. The golf R has some sort of special made APR "race file" which runs a lot of boost and timing.
