What im wondering is what additional parts did Audi add to VW's 2.5l? As far as lambowagen goes. Bently pubishers wrote in their manual for the Volkswagen Rabbit 06-09 the 2.5l cylinder head is based on the design for a lambrogini V10 cylinder head. They are a reputable source and im going to take their word for it.

the design, maybe. nothing else.
As far as audi, the engine is simply a stronger internal 2.5L and a different head, direct injected.
