AudioControl LC2i question

I have the Dynaudio set up with an Uberstealth subwoofer, and high level inputs directly to an Alpine MRV-M250 amplifier. It all sounds great, but I keep reading about how much better it is to use an LC2i instead of the high level inputs. Seeing as how I really don't listen to music above volume 12, and bass roll off occurs at volume 14, is there any benefit to investing in an LC2i?

Hi hb-Golf... Great choice on Dynaudio, love their speakers and works fab with AudioControl amplifiers. For full disclosure I work for AC and have the LC2i and other stuff in my car and the difference is amazing. Not only the LOC but the impact of their AccuBASS patent they have to solve the Bass rolloff... Here is the link to the site

They also just published a new product summary...

Thanks for your reply AudioAlex. You will be happy to know that I just purchased an AudioControl ACM-1.300 to replace my existing amplifier instead of adding an LC2i.

Sharing my impressions of the AudioControl ACM-1.300 versus the Alpine MRV-M250: the AudioControl seems more musical and understated, but the bass hits when called upon, and the built-in AccuBass feature works as advertised. Bass keeps climbing with the rising volume now. The Alpine would seem to pump out more overbearing bass at lower volume, but the bass would roll off at higher volume. Very happy with the upgrade.
