1.6 tdi - white smoke not disappearing

got a 2011 golf 1.6 tdi and when i start the engine, all i see from the exhaust is white smoke.

The day before i changed the filters and also the engine oil a couple of times but i still see white smoke from the exhaust. please can someone point out what the problem is and what would be the damage if there is any...

Just wanted to make sure. I am by no means an expert but it sounds like your turbo has let out. Since the automobile had water damage it could be from something else as well. Hopefully others will chime in here and help you out. Good luck man! Hope all goes well.

Seems like the camrods are fucked, so ill probably have to replace engine. Oh well, engine costs round about £1200 bringing total cost of car to £7000.
