"warble" in suspension, shop can't figure it out. ???

I've recently noticed my suspension, handling, and feel of the vehicle is way off. I suspect the front driver side. At low speeds it feels as if driving on a square wheel, like the road is very bumpy when its not. Very noticeable when cornering in parking lots, etc. At highway speeds the car is all over, like getting blown around in high winds. No clunking or other noises, just feel.

At the shop (dealership) they balanced the wheels, did the alignment, checked all the suspension parts and can't find anything wrong. However they test drove and acknowledge something doesn't feel right.

I'm on winter wheels/tires, but I've had them on for months and have only noticed this for the past few days. I had the same experience with my 03 golf, which turned out to be broken control arm.

thoughts?

i have the same blown around feeling, my control arm bushings are worn according to vw (make a warbling kind of noise i guess, something moving around that shouldnt) but it may be just a coincidence that we both get that same feel,
my swaybar endlinks were shot too, and i replaced those and it feels much more stable (no clunks either which is what bothered the shit out of me)

I am on stock suspension. I've been driving with the issue for a week or so now. I'd like to swap my winter set up back for the all seasons, see if the issue goes away. However it's been all of 5* out lately so I'm hesitant to do that.

The odd thing is that it's not constant. Sometimes it's barely noticeable, and sometimes it's bad enough to make me pull over and make sure my wheels are all still attached.

Maybe the LCA bushings when 'warmed' up offer more freedom to move and 'warble' as compared to when they're cold and they may feel 'tighter'? Just a theory.
