Doors intermittently not locking or unlocking

I've been having a weird problem with my doors - 2014 with DSG.

A few months ago I noticed that my car doors were not locked when I got back into the car after work. I took it in and the mechanic (not a dealer, but VW specialist) saw some codes for failure to latch - so he replaced the latches. Fast forward a few months and the issue is back. I took it to my local dealer who had the car for 3 days and "could not reproduce the issue" - thanks guys.

It appears to be all doors, intermittently. I would also lose the window switches intermittently.

I have looked around and I now thing it is something to do with the CECM. 1. Does that make sense? 2. Where is the mk6 CECM? I have found a mk5 video, but it appears the mk6 is different in this area.

Any help is greatly appeciated!

My 2012 Autobahn seems to have a similar issue. I sometimes notice that the door doesn't audibly make any unlock noises, when I touch the door handle. Pretty sure I always lock the car, when leaving.

Intermittent problem, so I've never noticed, beforehand, if the security light was blinking. Always surprised that I don't hear the door locks unlatching. Keep wondering if some stray RF is unlocking the doors, or someone driving by is keying their remote (I've actually seen someone slowly driving past with a remote out their car window.)

Yeah, kinda stumped, too.

I ended up trading in the car. No one was ever able to figure it out and I got tired of having to jump the car every morning.
