Ever since they merged with Kmart, I have only purchased one item from them....a POS air compressor. And that was a waste of money as well since it's only good for pumping air into tires.

LOL, I hear ya. Without a doubt the Craftsman line will be sold/carried over and continued as well as the Kenmore line of products as they are real money makers whether Sears closes its doors forever or not.

I know Sears is tanking but deep inside I hope they don't because that's my first and oldest line of credit.

I have this socket set mentioned here. I'm pretty hard on my hand tools and I have no complaints at all about this particular set. In fact it was pretty helpful while installing an Unibrace the other week.

$50 for the kit now in that link..Worth it? My Schwaben bit set has seen better days.

I've used Craftsman for years, with no complaints. Break a socket or whatever, bring it in, they replace it no questions.

Pretty good if you ask me.

I like all my craftsman hand tools. Really close with the fancier brands, like snap on.

It's the power tools that you'll want to avoid. Like the plague.
