RNS-510 Questions

I am looking to purchase a new OEM RNS-510 head unit. Is it just plug and play? What will I need to ensure that everything works flawlessly, including the steering wheel controls, bluetooth, etc..?

Plug and play 100% if you have a BT module already.

You currently have an rns315 right? Does it have the bluetooth built in or do you have a module under the passenger seat?

I dont think the rns510 has bluetooth built in but I could be wrong...

If you have bluetooth under the seat it will be the correct one (9w7) since you have a 2014

It may not be under the seat. It could be in the center console or behind the glove compartment. If you have an RNS-315 check to see what revision it is.

not to hi-jack the thread (and no I haven't done a diligent search yet), but is there a certain revision number for the RNS-315 that we should be looking for? Or is there a year that would potentially have the bluetooth module, whereas others have it built in?
