Next weekend for us, I'm not even considering a mk7 gti, but I'm gonna go give that test car heck, just to feel what the 7 is made of.

I haven't done one of these since the mkv. I'm planning on buying an R this time around, but still plan on checking out the GTi. Something to keep me sane while waiting on the R.

Just registered, June 29 at 10am. On a related note, I finally saw the mk7 GTI in person yesterday. Its much better looking in person than in pictures (except that red stripe in the headlights, just as ugly in person). And that interior...such upscale. much superior. wow. Looking forward to the test drive.

We don't have the gtd here unfortunately. I'd dump my car in a heartbeat for a gtd, though ....
