OK, just got word that my GTI is enroute from Halifax... a month earlier than I thought! Should be in my hands in 2 weeks. YESSSSS! :happyanim:

hey jman let me know if it arrives with the front license plate mount on it, i also have my GTI coming from Halifax as well, 2 door in black with the luxury package!!!

Mine just got dropped off today at work just missed getting pics as it came off the truck, but I snapped a few still all wrapped up. PDI is tomorrow, can't believe its actually here :thumbup:

Even a month and a half later, I'm still eager to drive the GTI and while driving really enjoy it. It is just plain fun to drive!

OK, picked mine up today, perfectly timed with this fantastic weather. Been driving all day with a stupid big smile on my face.

First impressions...

- WOW can't believe how much fun this thing is!
- DSG sound effects are really cool
- Everybody seems to love and comment on the Detroits
- The hatch attracts dust like crazy

Here's a pic... the Candy White and red stripe really make it pop. Note the MK4 twins across the street
