I re-joined and will add my 2011 GTI to the list when the next survey comes out :)

Thanks!

If possible, I'd like to merge your old and new accounts. Just send me an email at my usual address (the one all of the emails are sent from).

We'll have updated stats for the new GTI soon. We didn't yet have enough responses for the 1.8T and TDI, so if more owners could sign up with those it would be especially helpful.

Thanks!

For what it's worth, the survey goes forward quarter by quarter, so no real need to respond when you first join. It's fine to wait until after the end of the quarter, meaning next time in about a month.

We do it this way to eliminate a key source of bias in the typical online survey.

That said, I'm more than a little embarrassed to point out that I mixed up my Golf generations earlier. We have quite a few people signed up for the 2.5 and TDI for the MkVI. I was talking about the new Mk7.

Of course, it's also always helpful to have more of the MkVIs. Very happy to be able to provide such complete stats on these cars, in part because people here have been awesome.
