OEM Lug-Lock Caps Fit McGard Wheel Locks?

Hi all. I recently installed wheel spacers and am now looking for 45mm lug locks to replace OEM ones. Important to me is use of OEM plastic lug-lock caps. Has anyone experience with McGard locks and know whether VW caps will snugly fit them? I called McGard and best they can tell me is the top-face diameter at 0.88 in, which is really close to OEM (very slightly smaller). Else, I'm forced to order online (can't find anywhere local) and test with possible return if not snug fit.

As a follow-up (for anyone else who might be considering same), OEM VW lug-lock plastic caps do NOT fit McGard lug locks. As somewhat expected, McGards have a smaller face/top diameter than OEMs, so caps are much too loose. Oh well, worth checking.
