The interior does feel hokey. I was amazed how nice my gti felt after driving the ST. If I was 25 instead of 35 I probably wouldn't mind.

IMO, the R isn't overpriced. I'm obviously in the minority. I cannot think of any 4dr car that I could have purchased new equipped similarly with the same level of refinement and driving excitement.
