Alright, thanks. If they say it acts like the stock DV with the spring out do you have any idea if that would mean the flute or goose honk sound would re appear?

No clue man! I have a frankenstein intake composed of the BSH and IE intakes and never experienced the flute noise with a stock or GFB DV. I actually tried running my GFB without the second spring before and iirc there wasnt a big difference in sound either.
