Hey everyone,

I have bought the new VW GTI MKVI a month ago and i need to buy a navi system for it, but i don't know what to get.

I was planning to get the RNS-510 navi system, but i am afraid that it wont work on the car.

I need your help guys.

The navigation unit you can order as option with any new Golf from Volkswagen itself is the RNS-510 so why wouldn't it work on it?

Thanks for replying, but what my problem is i asked a guy works in the VW dealer and he told that he can't give me his word about if it works or not because it didn't come with a navi system RNS - 510 from the manufacturer.


What i really want to know if it would work or not.

There are at least a few dozen guys who put the RNS-510 into thier MK5 GTI's after they already bought it and it works flawlesly so why would it be different with the mk6

I've installed a RNS-510 on my MK6 and only need to code with VCDS to enable MFSW and MFD to interface with it
