APR Stage 1 Question

I have a brand new 2012 CW Autobahn with DSG and was wondering when I should flash the ECU to Stage 1. I do not drive it everyday so it only has 400 or so miles on the car. I really want to break the car in right so I was thinking at around 1200 miles on the car before I drive to APR to let them do it. There headquarters in about 4.5 hrs away. I was thinking while there to go ahead with 3" turbo back exhaust, flash Carbino intake as well. I think this will be the only engine modes I do.
Is stage 2 a different flash or more bolt on's also? No stage 3 for me I don't think. Still want good reliability but more power.

thanks,
JB

Welcome, and congrats on the new cars. You should see no issues with flashing at early miles, as long as you use common sense and follow proper break-in schedule.

If you're doing Carboni and APR TBE, you might as well do Stage 2 since you're installing all the recommended/required parts already.

well , by the time the sale hits in a couple weeks, you'll probably have your 1k miles anyways.

As you are not doing any engine mods, there should be no issue breaking in as normal.

Agreed, might as well wait a week at this point, you will get a fully loaded ECU for $600 plus discounts on all the parts.
