Mk6 wheels on Mk7 ?

Ready to race!
I have a set of Detroit wheels from my mk6 GTI.
Will they fit on my daughters mk7 TSI ?

What car does your daughter have? Mk7 TSI is generation and motor type, not model / sub-model.

In terms of lug size, hub size and general specs, mk5-7 all use the general specs with some variations. 57.1, 5x112, m14x1.5 thread lugs etc. but offset and actual wheel size changes per model. Detroits are 18in x 7.5 et 51 so thats a pretty decent VW size that fits most model mk6 and 7s but again we're generalizing here.

Mk7 Golf TSI 4 door hatchback.
Stock wheels on her car are 17”.

I thought that someone on here would be able to answer ya or nay without going into all of that detail.
She lives 5 hours away so I don’t have the car at my fingertips .
