Anyone replaced the front emblem on the Golf?

No but I thought about it and looked to see how hard it was. I believe you just grab it and twist counter clockwise and it will release. Here is a link to a quick video.

I'll give that a shot. But I know people always complain about how difficult they are to remove on the GTI so I'm a little pessimistic about it being so simple.

Simply twisting it does nothing, I removed the grill. This is what it looks like:
Not really sure how to proceed from this point. If anyone has any suggestions please share. My car is a 2014 if that helps I’ve read there are different grills for different years.
