Hey guys, wanted to make a journal of my car and the mods because I got so much information from everyone on the forums, I thought it would be nice to put my car and mods up to allow anyone to ask questions if they are considering them. I got a lot of inspiration from people on the forums and would like to thank everyone for the tips and info they provided.
I'm around Albany NY so if anyone has questions or needs help, I can try my best and maybe offer a hand.

I started a car crew called "Perfect Circle", you'll catch us at the local cars and caffeine car show In Troy NY. Come talk to us if you would like to be a part of it.

Looks really clean. Usually not a fan of the halogen lights but they look right on your front end for some reason lol

Thanks! its not perfect but I have a photo style that really hides the imperfections haha
And yea I'm not in love with them but when I put on my oem tail lights, I had to turn my drl's off to get rid of the codes. Any headlights I want use the DRL's so I need to figure out the coding issue. But they don't bother me too much atm

Beautiful car, great job!

One question I have though is around the catback. I didn’t know AWE made a Touring catback for our cars. I thought they just made one version unlike on some other cars such as the Audi S4.

Hey! ok so here is my thinking and I could be wrong so someone please correct me. I didn't see an option for a touring or track edition catback when purchasing the catback. this catback came with 1 muffler/resonator. my friend has a 1.8t jetta and he said that his AWE catback was the track edition, which didn't have the muffler in it. So I thought this was considered the touring but I'm probably wrong. I really don't know if I have a touring version or if theres any version for us at all. Either way, if you considering it, I would recommend. Im younger but I don't love super loud exhausts. This one is very euro, exotic sounding, and isn't too much louder. At some points, I wish it was a bit louder but I rather have it like that than too loud and want it quieter. hope that helps lol

if anyone is interested, His is a bit louder and deeper and mine is more sporty sounding if that makes sense. With my catback, I can take the muffler out and replace it with a pipe if I felt like it.

Capital District Cars and Caffeine Meet! April 29th starts at 8:00am.

Hey guys!
I wanted to let anyone in the capital district know about the Capital Region Cars and Caffeine monthly meet. It will be on April 29th at 8 am. Me and some friends plan to meet at Hudson Valley community college and then ride in together. If you would like to join, let me know. Or if you would like to meet there, thats cool too. Im not affiliated with the show or anything, just love the environment it has.

also wanted to update the list a bit cause I got some maintenance/mod things. Nothing crazy but I picked up a set of OEM red coil packs (I think) and NGK PRF7S8EG 1675 spark plugs. My car has had a rough idle and I hope these fix it. I believe they are the best spark plugs to buy and I will be gapping them at 0.28 (I think) in spec with APR recommendations. Ill post some engine bay picks when its all done and clean!

Hey man very sorry just seeing your post. but yea I have the vwr springs and strt struts and I like them a lot. I actually have never been in another mk6 besides my own so I have no comparison but I think for the street, they are great. reduced body roll significantly on On and off ramps but when I hit road bumps, it doesn't make you cringe. A very street worthy set up in my opinion, especially for the price. Idk if I can say a company in post, but the big one usually has a deal on them. Also minimum bounce on the highway.

new parts lol

Hey guys, wanted to give a mass update haha
-Oem roof racks
-Neuspeed 25mm rear Sway bar
-amazon rain guards
-windshield tint banner

Loving the racks, I like how the silver contrasts the black look of my car. Im still deciding on the bike rail but I might wait till spring. The one thing about these racks is that they are a bit loud. Didn't expect that but makes sense.

Haven't installed the sway bar yet. Just got it yesterday from a guy on craigslist.

Rain guards were 30 bucks haha, I love them but the 3m tape didn't attach that well. Cant expect too much

Tint banner was also off amazon. 10 bucks. Not gonna lie, for what I paid and for my first time doing it, It came out well. theres some spots were the glue didn't adhere because it folded on itself when I was installing it:mad0259: my fault but I love it. I kinda wanna do it again but make it longer.
