1) I'm using my mk5 rabbit 08 as down payment for mk6 GTI...
a) the rabbit is 66k miles,
b) the dealership offers trade in value (rabbit) for 10500, to get mk6 gti..

***** the problem *****

1) the price for the 2013 Gti is 24900 with monthly payment of 278 for 60 months with 1k downpayment added to my rabbit making 11500..

the gti is base model, and i want to know if 24900 is a great price considering they are giving me a great trade in value for my car..

Or should i settle for convenience package 2012 mk6 gti with about the same price of the 2013 gti ..

keep in mind other dealership are giving me trade in value for the rabbit about 7500-8000

Is the GTI DSG or manual? $24,900 is pretty good for DSG, but I would expect manual should be 500-1,000 less. I managed to haggle two dealers down to $24,317 on a 2013 base GTI with DSG and 4 doors. Never pulled the trigger, but I felt it was a good deal for TX based on the research I did.

whatever

If $24,900 includes taxes, fees, etc. then it is probably a good price for the model. $278/mo x 60 months? Might want to review your financing rate.
