Well u need a doner bumper to get some plastic that u can cut out. It gets plastiwelded onto the diffusor then the white stuff is a plastic bonder. That's it for now!

It will no longer be visible, my AWE catback came in 5 pieces so I'm taking off the tips and adjusting the pipes down/side.

Im curious as to how it will come out, I liked it on the MK5 but idk how it will look on the mk6. I love the rear valence on the stock mk6 though lol

Well since I'm not too sure either if I am going to like it, I'm paiting the golf fissusor white and installing it to see if I like the look.. If I do, then I'm going to shave it into the actual bumper and if I don't then I still have my untouched GTI one.

So here it is.. badgeless grill..

Ok so im very UNHAPPY with the grill due to its poor quality..
1. Red stripes were not fully dry when they got packed for shipping so the wrapper got inprinted into the red stripes and looks like crap.
2. The clips are too fat and wont fit into the back piece of the stock grill holder or w/e u wanna call it, and two already broke when i was test fitting it.
3. The honeycomb is very poorly constructed and chipped in few places.
4. The fitment is just really bad and un even.

Will i recommend this to anyone? NO unless ur like me and can re do the whole thing which will take some custom fitting and repainting.

Ohh and the hood and the bumper will be notched soon.

heres a lil preview for the exhaust-less look lol everything will be shaved in soon.

donor mk6 front fender to cut out a piece that will be welded in into the rear hatch since its better to weld same metal due to thickness and etc.

sorry to hear that you're not 100% satisfied with the grille. that's very frustrating. i must say though, it look spot on in the pictures. i am really looking forward to the pics once the hood and bumper are filled.

Yeaa.. Normally I would just ship it back and ask for a new one but knowing that it's a custom job and the grill is made out of 2 or even 3 different grills plus shipping from Germany is going to take too damn long so imma do it all custom and just paint it gloss black plus I also got some chrome stripes for the grill too so when it's all done it should look really good! I'll upload more detailed pictures when it's all done.
