Cam Follower concern

Hi everyone,,,

I have heard that Cam Follower on Golf R - Stage 2+ need to be replaced between time to time, as it might destroy the engine if broken!!

So is it right???

Anyone had an issue with the Cam Follower

Cam follower is a normal wear item, like brake pads. There are MANY threads on this topic, some of them very recent, please search for those threads.

ECS recommends checking your cam follower:

- Every 5-10k miles on highly modified cars
- Every 20-30k miles on stock cars

I've changed mines with only 5k miles on it ...and yes I do have a APR HFPF ... It looked new but I didn't care ... And will continue to replace them ... Only $50.00 at my vee dub dealer .....
