vibration shaking starting from a stop

Car vibrates and shakes only when starting from a stop in first gear and only on gradual easy takeoffs. Spirited take offs feel normal. Maybe a sign of bad motor mounts? Clutch was replaced 8000 miles ago. Occurs when car is cold and warm. Shaking and vibration stop once clutch is fully engaged. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Doing some searching things I’ve come up with : bad dual mass flywheel, bad mounts, bad clutch. Clutch is practically new...

If it goes away when the clutch is engaged, I would guess bad flywheel and/or bad mounts (less likely).
Did you resurface the flywheel when you did the clutch? Or get a new flywheel? Any other noises happening?

I have the same symptoms (DSG though). If it is an engine mount any way to visually inspect it for damage/wear?
