Key fob window op not working?

Hello all and thanks for the add. I recently purchased a 2012 golf tdi 4 door in United gray with the 6mt and I love the car. This is my first new vehicle in a few years and as I was browsing YouTube and doing some basic research on the features and specs, I saw where I could possibly use the key fob to lower the windows by holding the unlock button and raise them by holding the lock button. I referred to the manual and I found where the manual lock is on the driver's side door and that works for the windows. I set the window OP on all in the settings but I'm still not getting anything when I press the key fob buttons other than locking and unlocking the doors. I have tried both key fobs and neither of them complete the operation.

Its not the tech package so theres no nav ect.if that has any effect on the issue.

Any guidance or suggestions would be super helpful!

You need a tool like VagCom (VCDS) or OBD11 to enable it FIRST

It's not enabled from the factory

You can also set it using Carista. That's what I did to get some options set on my GTI.
