This is why cars come with idiot lights now instead of gauges. People are too literal. There is going to be variations in these gauges from car to car. Use the gauges to identify differences in your own car and don't worry about what another car reads.

here's my car this afternoon at startup. it had been sitting for 10 hours but it was 93 degrees outside when i started it.

Hey guys, reviving this old ass thread.

Yesterday I installed an analog boost gauge(yeah it took me years to finally get one lol) and I noticed at idle it drops down to -30 vaccum. wtf? i dont think thats normal since everyones stays around -21, -22. Can someone tell me how that works and what could be the issue? thanks.
