Found water in my mk6 gti boot

Hello guys,
I found a lot of water in the spare tire compartment of my mk6 gti. I removed all the plastics and the upholstery inside the trunk and found out that the water is dripping from the rear end chassis column as shown in the pic below.
Can anyone help me to know from where the water is dripping???

Hmm haven't heard of this problem but I would check all your outside panel seals. If your car had body work done or damaged panel I would start there.

I think this is a common problem, I had my tow guy also tell me that I had some water build up in the spare tire compartment. Not sure where is getting in from, could just be condensation.

The rear washer hose is notorious for leaking. If you use your rear washer often or have used it recently it could be from that.

My hatch washer line is just broken. I ran it and water came gushing in through the trim. I haven’t gotten around to fixing it yet so I just don’t use it.
