Got my rear VW emblem done in CSG for anyone wondering how it looks on the car, thanks john!

how did you end up taking your rear emblem off... john suggested i take off the hatch liner, but im thinking there is an easier way
for the rear, I took the emblem off and left the hatch mechanism on. I used a plastic card like an old credit card and wedged it into the notch on the bottom of the emblem. Then just take your time working the card all around the sides to free the tabs. There are some tab on the VW section to align the emblem, so just pull the emblem straight out once you have the side tabs unlocked.
Didn't do the front since I have a badgeless grill but I think I read you have to take the grill off first, not 100% sure though.

Yes, that was the same question I had about a week ago. I have wanted to do this for a while but always put it on the back burner.
