Labor cost for replacing wheel bearing

Hey everyone,
Looks like I’m gonna have to replace my front left wheel bearing. What’s the average cost for labor I should expect?

My guy that works out of his garage charged me $65 or $75...can't remember exactly.

I'd expect a shop to hit you for a couple hours of labor, which translates into $200+.

Prices vary by where you live, obviously.

If there’s no rust or corrosion then it shouldn’t be more than two hours, because I can do a front wheel bearing on this car about that fast and I’m not a trained professional mechanic. A professional that’s done this before can certainly knock it out in less than an hour. A shop that quotes more may not realize that they’re replacing a bolt in bearing/hub assembly and no hydraulic press is required.
