Is laminex worth it

Hey guys I was just wondering if any one had installed Laminex on their headlight lens. How durable are our headlight lens coating from the factory? I just dont want it to get all foggy.

There is a coating from the factory?

I have a full kit for this, but haven't had the chance to put them on yet.

Im not totally sure if there is one, my friend that installs HIDs and whatnot seems to think so though.

are you talking about preventing your headlights from being oxidized/faded? just use car wax or sealant on the headlight.

I put it on my headlights and foglights. I would definitely do it again if I bought a new car. I even thought about refinishing the headlights on my mk4 and putting the lamin-x on them to keep them new looking. I can't really say of the long term effects of the lamin-x but I know without it my headlights look like ass after a few years.
