My car kept stalling when idle. I had it fixed. Then it stalled again!!!

So I took my car to the dealer, the mechanic looked at it, and he determined it was indeed the crankshaft position sensor. He fixed it, under warranty, and then it ran fine after that. For a week.

Then it stalled again.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?????????????????????

I don't know what to do now. I'll take it back to the dealer, and he'll look at it again, but if a defective crankshaft position sensor that has since been fixed was not the problem, then what is the problem??

My loyalty to VW is being severely tested right now . . .. :mad:

is the sensor or area around it leaking any fluid?

You sound like a guy who YELL alot and expect alot, you could at least help yourself by posting and following up on the Thread(s) where people were trying to help you.
