Disable stability control on 11 GTI?

It may not be a problem as '11's don't seem to want to accept the re-coding. Being a CN car, maybe you'll get lucky..

The thing Bruno posted is disabling the steering position sensor to get it to basically cripple ESP. Its not the same as the 2012+'s actual coding to re-enable 2 stage ESP switching...The steering way should disable the ESP regardless of the model year, with the side effect of disabling XDS too.

I'd agree that in the dry track or autox the ESP actually isn't that intrusive if the car is driven smoothly. But I definitely agree with the OP that GTI does not like being "hooned" in the snow....I feel like as soon as the e-brake is pulled the engine is cutting power....

So any news on this?
My friend have a 2010 mk6 GTI and the ESP want shut off when button is kept pressed. APR is deactivate and then Re-activate if button is kept pressed.
