RNS510 SD button greyed out

So I am struggling to get my SD cards into my RNS510.

Tried all sorts of cards varying from 1GB to 16GB and none are working!

When I put in the SD card nothing happens! Not even an error message!

The "SD" button on my RNS is greyed out as well!

anyone know what this can be? Really want to use the SD card slot otherwise I'll have to get a new head unit.

I have a B version h03 firmware 3980

Did you try putting the lock button on the SD cards themselves in the middle?

Are they formatted properly?
