Looking at the flames it seems it was a cabin fire and didn't have anything to do with the engine. Maybe a dodgy sound install? Accidents happen.

Damn. Depending on what this goes for, you could salvage some excellent stuff from this car like the AWD system mentioned for sure!!! :D

I wonder what happened to the drivers side light and bumper since the two sets of photos had been taken.

Maybe the tow guy broke shit during the loading of the car since it was crispy?

Looks like it took a hit on the driver's front side after the incident based on the crumpled fender and shattered grille. Probably careless salvage yard or employees screwing around. Shame as those would have been worthwhile salvageable parts.
