Problem.

So when I bought my R it had work done I could see it had APR intake and catback, the dealership wasn't too sure of what else was told it had an ungraded clutch and stage 1 Tune and they didn't know what else maybe down pipe and fuel pump. So I decide to contact the place that did the work and they didn't seem to sure but was told that it was stage 2 ready so I decided to pay the $50 and get the tune, and I swear it was slower after the tune. I had it looked at recently and it doesn't have the down pipe but I'm getting it done soon. My question is will I need a re tune or will the car figure it out and start running better with the current tune and the down pipe. Thanks for the help.

You decided to pay $50 and get what? If you don't have a DP then you shouldn't have a tune for it. You need a 3" DP or a Stg. 1 Tune.

The site says all you need for a stage one tune is the intake, 2+ requires the HPFP and down pipe.

Wrong no DP for st 2.
