Ready to race!
For some reason I had it in my head that I had a CCTA, and was thrilled to research and find and find out that an FSI downpipe fits CCTA engines. Until I realized I had a CBFA engine, which greatly limits me to 4 to 700 dollar downpipes. Im not making that much as one of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children so 4 to 700 dollars + 600 for an ECU flash, right now is a little much. Im working in a tool room at a maintenance shop, so tools and know how is readily at my hands. I ran across this thread where someone took a CCTA/FSI Downpipe an fitted it to a CBFA motor by dremeling the 2 holes into a "U" shape and using a washer.
