Have you replaced the tune with the new beta tune?

Not this current one. But have had two revisions since. Still the same issues. Car is currently at my parents in another state when my brakes failed on track.

Is the new file officially out and ready to flash? Is it 2.5 or 2.4.1?

I have stage 1 apr on my car with apr intake and the car ECU was flashed to stock since 2017 due to a DMV recall.

Been wanting to add stage 1 back just just haven't done it

Haven't been reading up keeping up with the thread...but Is it a good time get the beta 2.5 now? Or is it buggy??

Thanks Arin, and thanks to the rest of the team. I'm trying to justify going in to get the update, and could use your help.

For me, the DSG feature of the update is irrelevant (2012 GTI, manual trans), and I haven't noticed the low RPM oscillation. Is there a description that you have for what this condition is, and in which cases it's most prevalent? Maybe I haven't noticed it.

BTW, very cool video you did with your calibration engineer (Eric?) talking calibration.

So, I'd file this one under "If it aint broke, don't fix it."

There are some customers that were very unhappy. Others not. Seemed hit or miss. This seems to have knocked it out of the park. But if you don't have any complaints, I wouldn't waste your time updating.

BTW, very cool video you did with your calibration engineer (Eric?) talking calibration.

Thanks! Very impromptu. Hope the content helped. :)

If the previous owner had installed the stage 2 software, would a new owner be able to have this update installed at an APR dealer?

You might have to pay $150 to transfer the license into your name. I know if you were trying to upgrade from stage 1 to stage 2 you'd have to pay the $150, but in this case I'm not really sure.
