Need some help with my exhaust

New to the car scene here, bought my GTI with APR downpipe installed but Iím looking for some more sound. I went under the car and got some pictures but have no idea what I would need to have taken out. If someone could point out what is in the photos that will make a difference when removed Iíd appreciate it. Thanks !

If itís a stock catback do a muffler or resonator delete. Thatíll open up the sound.

If that's the stock catback looks like someone already took out the stock resonator in your first pic and put in an aftermarket one like a bottle style (Vibrant?) resonator which is a pretty popular mod for a more mild sound. You can just remove that resonator and put a straight pipe in for some extra sound.

Get a resonator delete. I had dp, rez delete and stock muffler and it sounded great! Bought new Beluga exhaust and I prefer the old sound.

Yeah get that resonator out of there and see how you like it. If you want more then remove the muffler. Cost me $60 to have the resonator removed.

Wait do you not have the suitcase muffler either in the back? Hard to tell from the first pic.

If you want it louder then remove the resonator. If you want the loudest then get a down pipe without the cat.

Yeah you're car must be pretty loud already lol... If you remove the resonator you're basically going to have a straight piped exhaust with only a small cat. But if you remove resonator then yeah its def going to be louder.
