So I got an amp and sub recently, along with all the wiring and a rca converter, because I want to use my stock radio which is the touch screen one w/o nav. I have a 2011 2 door Gti. I know I have to splice wires I just want to know which ones I need to splice. I have a single 12 inch sub. Also how can I assure the amp will turn on and off with the car? And I have a 6 speed so where is the best place to put the power line through the firewall, I've read to go through were a big bunch of wires are to the left above the clutch.
