SF Bay Area Coils Install
Where is a good place to install coils in the SF Bay Area ?
My coworker recommended SonicMS in MountainView but they are a bit on the pricy side ... Any suggestions ? I drive a TDI so a lil bit of distance do not scare me... ![]() Last edited by KaiSTrikes_MKVI; 08-08-2011 at 06:53 PM. |

I would try Custom Allignment in Mountain View or Roger Kraus Racing in Castro Valley. Both are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Both set up a lot of Autocross and road race guys and they know what they are doing with allignments and such. In fact Roger Kraus guaranteed my allignment for life. I got it setup and when I went through my tires they looked at them to determine any adjustments that were needed for more even tire wear. It is always a crapshoot on best allignment specs when you are lowered. Most places just try to get you close to stock instead of optimizing as much as possible for what how you drive, etc. |

Sonic MS is the only shop in the Bay I'd take a Euro to for major aftermarket work. They did the majority of work on my MB and are as established as can be in the aftermarket euro scene there. That said, just installing coilovers should not be that difficult a job so most motorsports shops can take care of it.
