Hey everyone, so I just got a golf R and I plan on going UM stage 2+....my question is, is the oem Golf R intercooler sufficient or do I need something better?

You'll want to get an IC because heat soak is no fun. I have a Neuspeed on my 2+ and it does the trick.

I've been APR Stage 2+ for a year now. I plan on getting the Integrated Engineering intercooler this month. The stock intercooler is sufficient but your car will perform better with an aftermarket one.

I would recommend the Integrated FDS intercooler. Uses a new design on the end tanks to get the air evenly distributed throughout the intercooler
