PZEV, any advantage emission component warranty wise?

Ready to race!
Got my Base GTI/DSG 4 door for a steal and I'm really enjoying the car.

Question; Other than being "cleaner/greener" than the non PZEV car, does this California emission set up provide any additional emission component warranty extention advantages?

Just broke 1,500 miles and it's running better than new. I suppose it's breaking in.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Yes, the PZEV has additional warranty on certain emission components as defined by federal law.

15 year, 150,000 mile warranty on emission control parts. A manual explaining PZEV and the warranty should have came with the car.

I received a letter and warranty booklet from VW entitled "1.1 California Emissions Warranties"
It came by USPS on Monday.
There's a chart on page 6 itemizing components and their coverage. Most are 7/70,000 but lucky us with PZEV are covered for 15/150,000 as M_Simms stated. That's great.

Cool, then I suppose even though I'm in NJ vs. California, some of these components have a super long coverage period, based on the responses. I wasn't sure if I had to reside in California to benefit from the coverage extension.
