Installing backup camera

Hello everyone,

I'm installing a OEM reverse camera on 2013 Scirocco with RNS 510. I need to know where do i get the power for the camera. I heard it's on reverse light but there are a lot of cables before the connector that connects to the tail light. Then it's a module that supplies power to each light.
How do i know which wire is the ground and +12v before the connector? Somebody please explain me cuz I don't want to screw it up and probably burn ECU.

What's the difference between OEM and aftermarket camera? Is there any difference in wiring? I'm also installing on MK6 Golf, but an aftermarket camera.

I had similar questions and used a chinese aftermarket camera. I ended up figuring it out, but pictures of where I tapped in for ground, power, and reverse are a few posts down in this thread.

You need constant 12v for the trunk latch to operate (the red line in the diagram posted above).

Then you also need to tap into the reverse light circuit so it triggers the camera mode when you put the car in reverse (top right of diagram).
