Thanks!!!! Have not seen her in over 3 months, between all the testing with the head porting program for Stage 2+ customers and then beyond Stage 3 build. She will be a rare unique R.

Not sure if you saw the retooled block, but it was painted APR red...nice touch:D

Some mighty large holes for special pistons and rods...:)


Few tweaks to trans and gears before joining engine..:w00t:


New Power Plant (trans/engine) are joined as one:thumbsup:



Next step is to put this baby back into the car.......stay tuned!

I picked up a set of LED tails a while back.

Stage 1 will probably happen within the next month or two so I can enjoy it during the summer. My gearbox feels very notchy (more than usual) and I wanted to wait a few thousand miles to see how it handled itself.
I don't want the dealer accusing me of damaging the gearbox when it was an issue from day 1.

She all put back together and being driven by the guru himself for the next week, then
doing shakedown and putting some break in on the clutch and engine. I expect we will drop the oil and go to spec oil soon. Then I can give you some feedback on the power levels. We will then dyno and tune, and get ready for the strip.

Maybe an R 1/4 record for non DSG auto....low 11's - oh my!!
