New Front Bumper Recommendations

Does anyone have any experience with the "Replica" or "Replacement" brand bumpers that are CAPA certified? I feel more comfortable going that route over the ebay golf R bumper. It carries a 1-year unlimited mile warranty.

I could go OEM but the whole CAPA certified thing makes me feel better. The link is in my previous post on this thread.

Honestly, I'm not going to spend $1,200 for a new bumper at this point in time ($800 for kit, $400 for paint).

I'd rather just replace my Gti bumper with another Gti bumper and ditch the golf R bumper idea.

Just about the cheapest OEM gti bumper you can get $332.
Without including the grills and stuff.

Maybe you can find aftermarket grill pieces to cut down on price
You can probably find the spoiler retainer on ebay or something
I don't think you need the end plates.
And you don't need the DRLs which are like $200

Yea, $332 isn't bad. They might kill me on the shipping. Thank you for the information though!

Maybe i'll go to my local dealer and see if they will price match me at the $332. Then just carry over all of the trim pieces from my current bumper to the new.
