I think they don't make them anymore.

Any body shop cant paint it that way, the chrome piece and plastic base can be separated.

I am thinking of doing mine in black with a white backing, along with white stripes.

yeah, last i looked they don't seem to offer the custom painted badges anymore; like xHeartcoreboyx said, a bodyshop can do it, and it was no bargain at $110 anyways, so don't feel too bad...

do you know what color red that is in behind the vw? i get my car monday and i would like to do this asap after i saw that i dont really want to look at the chrome
