WRD Coilover Review (2 years later)

I've had my WRD coils on for 2 years now and they're holding up alright but showing their age. I haven't undercoated my car or anything and it's seen 2 winters, one of which with the coils. I don't have a winter beater so I'm back to dailying my Golf, therefore I threw on my winters and took a look at my coils. The front right coil was showing some nasty rust. I'll enclose a pic. I guess it's to be expected but there's pretty little protection from corrosion on these coils.

Yeah, it's to be expected in a salt belt area since they're not stainless.

And with the helper springs, they're compressed most of the time so the spring coils just rub against each other & the finish flakes off...leaving no protection
