I bought a 2013 4dr 6-Speed GTI not too long ago and it wasn't until now that I realized that the seat warmers only work on the max setting. Number 1 and number 2 doesn't seem to heat up the seats at all, but once it's on the max (3 lights illuminated) setting, it heats up instantly and gets pretty hot. I checked the passenger side and it's the same thing, only works at the max setting.
I have cloth seats if that matters. Has this happened to anyone? I don't even know where to start to troubleshoot this...
